Job summary

Rexel USA, a leading distributor of electrical products, seeks a Branch Driver for the Boise, ID Platt team. The Truck Driver I delivers products to customers, Rexel branches, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, keeping it clean and serviced, loading and verifying orders, completing delivery paperwork, and assisting with branch duties such as counter sales and packing.

Qualifications

• Attend driver training if no experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR review.
• Must obtain medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• No suspended license in past 3 years.
• No at-fault accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload material and verify order contents and condition.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery paperwork with customer signature and packing list.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• May perform other branch duties as needed (counter sales, packing, stocking).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
