Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Memphis, TN is seeking a Store Install Coordinator to support sales at Store #2456 and coordinate installation through independent contractors for wholesale customers.

In this role you will assist in scheduling installations, review cut sheets and diagrams, ensure orders are measured and prepared correctly, and conduct on-site inspections to confirm customer satisfaction, while maintaining accurate records in the store system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Preferred: experience selling or installing floorcovering.
• Preferred: Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification.
• Preferred: ability to read/write in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store servicing wholesale customers.
• Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing installation plans to meet sales and profit goals.
• Assist sales representatives in field measurements including cut sheets, seam diagrams, and product specifications.
• Ensure all customer orders are accurately measured and cut.
• Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure installer transactions are handled properly through store computer system and records maintained.
• Determine installation training needs and request training as appropriate.

Job description

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers. In this role, you will assist in scheduling installations and ensure installation is conducted consistent with expectations.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #2456, located at: 5425 E Raines Rd Ste 9, Memphis, TN, 38115-6701.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

• Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store, servicing wholesale customers.
• Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing floorcovering installation plans to assist in meeting the store's budgeted sales and profit goals
• Assist Sherwin-Williams sales representatives in field measurements including cut sheets, seam diagrams, and product specifications
• Ensure all customer orders are accurately measured and cut
• Perform on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure all installer transactions are handled properly through store computer operating system and records are properly maintained
• Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products
• Have previous work experience installing floorcovering
• Have the Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
