Job summary

Flagstar Bank in Staten Island, NY seeks a Branch Banking Client Consultant I-PT to deliver front-line client service and handle teller transactions with accuracy and a friendly approach. You will help clients achieve their financial goals while upholding risk standards.

The role supports branch growth and service goals by engaging clients, educating them on banking solutions, and collaborating with teammates to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
• Minimum experience required: Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (all Teller related functions) and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiative
• Client Experience: Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner. Delivers client engagement and Education. Meet behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership including, but not limited to introductions.
• Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions; striving for no controllable preventable losses. Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies and regulations.
