Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking an Assembler to join their manufacturing team in Westminster, MD. You will assemble sub-assemblies, brake units, wiring harnesses, and detail parts at the assembly bench, following instructions and blueprints.

Maintain quality, safety, and a clean work environment while meeting production standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years in mechanical or assembly roles, and comfort with hand tools.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in a mechanical or assembly role.
• Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components such as sub-assemblies, brake units, door motor drives, wiring harnesses, and detail parts at the assembly bench.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary parts, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolving assembly problems as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment while complying with company rules and policies.

Our client is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various production teams. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, a strong willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

If you are mechanically inclined and have assembled components such as sub-assemblies, brake units, door motor drives, wiring harness, and detail parts working at assembly bench, you are encouraged to apply!

This is a season position lasting until end of the year.

Job Title: Assembler

Pay Range: $18.14 per hour
