Job summary

Martinrea is seeking a Brake Press Operator to support production of parts that meet customer requirements for quality and output in a safe manner. The role involves operating brake press equipment, setting up tooling, and ensuring first-off parts pass QA checks.

Candidates should be able to read drawings and specifications, use measuring tools, and work independently or under supervision. The position requires adherence to health and safety rules and proper housekeeping in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• Reading drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to use Tape Measure, Vernier and other measuring tools.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for precise dimensions.
• Ability to work independently or with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Must follow Health & Safety regulations and Factory rules.
• Operate Brake Press to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Program, set up and adjust machines to achieve output and part accuracy.
• Interface with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Complete required data entry and paperwork.
