Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Brake Press Set-up/Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate press brake equipment. The role includes cross-training, maintaining safety standards, and keeping the workspace clean. Starting pay is $26 per hour with a second shift premium, and opportunities for growth within a growing metal fabrication company.

The 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday, 3 PM to 1 AM. We offer competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus for hired candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• A college or technical school certificate is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Brake Press Operator will perform activities related to manufacturing processes in order to ensure the company meets and exceeds quality standards and delivery dates.

2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3PM-1AM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate press brake and related equipment
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations/maintain safe work area
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Strong work ethic
• High School diploma or GED required
• Team player with a positive, "can do" attitude
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
