Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Brake Press Setup/Operator for 1st shift. You will set up and operate a press brake and related equipment to meet quality and delivery goals.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 7am-3pm. Starting pay is $26 per hour with a second shift premium and comprehensive benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Brake Press Operator will perform activities related to manufacturing processes in order to ensure the company meets and exceeds quality standards and delivery dates.

1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate press brake and related equipment
• Willingness to cross train and perform other job tasks when necessary
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations/maintain safe work area
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Strong work ethic
• High School diploma or GED required
• Team player with a positive, "can do" attitude
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a tape measure

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
