Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in New Albany, IN is hiring a Brake Press Machine Operator to join our production team. Base pay is $18.00 per hour with shift hours 6:00AM - 2:00PM, overtime may be required depending on orders.

You will perform changeovers, inspect parts, and enter quantities into our computer system, all while maintaining safety and quality standards. Qualified candidates have manufacturing experience, can read a tape measure and protractor, and hold a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a tape measure and protractor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect produced parts against specifications to ensure defect-free products.
• Install dies during tooling changes and adjust to specifications.
• Enter production quantities for each order into a computer system.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment and assist in other departments as needed.
