Associated Staffing Inc. seeks an experienced Fabrication Brake Press Operator for Holdrege, NE. The role involves setting up and operating power brake presses and related fabrication equipment to bend, cut, punch, form and shape metal per blueprints and specs.

The ideal candidate reads blueprints, performs basic welding and finishing, and works safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Overtime and a temp-to-hire path are possible; steel-toed boots are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong basic math skills including algebra and geometry.
• Ability to calculate measurements, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Experience using hand tools, air tools and fabrication equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate power brake presses and other fabrication machinery.
• Operate equipment such as lasers, CNC machines, saws, tables and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and production schedules.
• Measure, cut, bend, drill and form metal parts to specifications.
• Perform basic welding, grinding and finishing operations as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy and specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Report equipment issues, defects or material shortages to supervisors.
• Work with team members to meet production goals.

Fabrication Brake Press Operator Location: Holdrege, NE Pay: $21.50 per hour Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Thursday, 4:45 PM 3:30 AM Overtime: Some Fridays as needed Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Fabrication Brake Press Operator to join our team in Holdrege, NE! This position involves setting up and operating power brake presses and other fabrication equipment to bend, cut, punch, form, and shape metal materials according to blueprints and production specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, basic math skills and experience working with fabrication equipment. This role requires someone who can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to lift 25 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical duties throughout the entire shift.
