Job summary

American Products is seeking a Class B Brake Press Operator to support the metal fabrication team. You will operate brake press equipment to bend, shape, and form metal parts per specs, with growth opportunities within the department.

The role suits someone with basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Training provided for reading blueprints and workstation procedures, with a Tuesday–Friday 5:30am–3:30pm shift and $19–$20/hr pay.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required or demonstrated potential.
• Ability to read blueprints or work orders with training provided.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the department.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press machines to bend and form metal parts.
• Load/unload materials and ensure proper alignment.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and specification compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Document production details and material usage.
• Collaborate with team to meet goals and deadlines.
