Job summary

Amprod LLC is hiring a Class B Brake Press Operator to support the metal fabrication team. You will operate brake press equipment to bend, shape, and form metal parts according to production specifications, with room to grow within the department.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, reading blueprints, and a strong attention to detail. Training is provided for reading work orders and safety procedures; expect a collaborative team environment and a 5:30am–3:30pm Tuesday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• Basic mechanical aptitude needed.
• Understanding of brake press operations preferred.
• Able to read blueprints/work orders (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail essential.
• Basic math skills helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and grow.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press machines to bend and form metal parts.
• Load/unload materials and ensure proper alignment.
• Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and specification compliance.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Document production details and material usage.
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines.
