Job summary

Mechanical Slide Fabrication Operator

Shift Assignment

1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Achieve rate and meet targets.
• Conduct changeovers and setups.
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors.
• Perform shop functions, packing instructions, and labeling requirements.
• Respond to machine faults and downtime, a-nd accurately track.
• Provide training to new operators.
• Participate in Kaizen events, problem‑solving teams, and improvement projects.
• Operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Brake Press Operator experience.
• Understanding of mechanical systems, familiarity with tools, die changeovers, and ability to read blueprints.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high‑paced environment.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding basic English.
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
