This position is responsible for forming different substrates of sheet metal. These responsibilities include shaping metal, maintaining press brake, reading blueprints, completing inspections, packaging, lifting, and moving of parts & inventory, using a forklift, and following safety regulations.
Brake Press Operator role is considered a safety-sensitive position. Employees are responsible for operating and working around manufacturing equipment, power tools, moving machinery, and material handling devices where inattentiveness or inability to safely perform assigned duties could result in injury to themselves or others. Employees must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and must consistently demonstrate the ability to work safely, follow safety policies, and maintain situational awareness in a manufacturing environment. Safety performance is a critical component of successful job performance in this role.
