Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a production operator to operate basic machinery in line with SOPs, load and unload materials, and monitor operations. This role requires turning in reports of issues to the supervisor and performing routine checks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a team. English fluency is required, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8–12 hour shifts with safety as a priority.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
