Job summary

Nemco Food Equipment is seeking a skilled machine operator for a 3rd shift role in Kentucky. The job involves setting up and operating a CNC brake press to produce components to blueprint specifications, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

You will train new operators, read blueprints, use measuring tools, and maintain clean, organized workspaces while adhering to safety standards. Experience in a production environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator in a production environment.
• Able to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Strong attention to quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow work order routings and complete associated paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform first-piece inspection of manufactured parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and tolerances and adjust setups accordingly to ensure a quality product is produced.
• Train new operators on the setup and operation of CNC equipment, as required.
• Train to become proficient on various machines, with moderate supervision and/or crew leader instruction.
• Communicate all machine-related issues (e.g., machine downtime or equipment damage) and/or part availability to the supervisor and/or crew leader.
