Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

• Ability to operate various types of machines: Sizing, planisher and power brakes.
• Operates power brake to form various types of flat metal stock such as banding, making joggles, and angle bends.
• May finish-form partially formed punch press, hydro press, and drop hammer parts.
• Recognizes improper functioning of press and reports condition to supervisors.
• Assist other operators as needed.
• Performs rework, repair and other associated operations described.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree or General Education Degree; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills

• Language: **** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions.
• Mathematical Ability: **** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Other Abilities: **** Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

• Hand tools, measuring instruments and templates.

Materials used

• Lubricants, Ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys in the form of flat and shaped parts.

ITAR Compliance

Additional Information

Annual Target Salary: $85,000.00

Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2:00am
