Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, perform alignments and suspension work, and assist customers with automotive needs. You will use shop tools, handle tires, and may be required to drive or perform offsite services as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a valid license, demonstrate strong customer service, and can lift up to 75 lbs. On-the-job training is provided along with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds, bending and standing.
• Ability to operate shop tools and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, and alignment parts.
• Test and install batteries; rotate/mount tires and rebalance wheels.
• Dismount/mount TPMS components and perform driveline checks.
• Use shop tools and professional equipment; assist other staff.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite/emergency road service.
