Job summary

Les Schwab in Provo, UT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to install and service hydraulic and electric brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and steering components. You will test drive vehicles and assist other technicians while delivering friendly service to customers.

This full-time shop role requires a valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds; on-the-job training is provided, with benefits including medical, dental, retirement plans, PTO, and employee

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components
• Test and install batteries; test drive vehicles
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components
• Use equipment and tools; assist other employees; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to others as necessary
