Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers seeks Brake & Alignment Technicians to service brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and related components. Responsibilities include testing, battery work, tire mounting/dismounting, TPMS recalibration, and offsite road service support.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, safety, and adherence to company policies. Lifting and mobility requirements are noted, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing TPMS components.
• Using equipment and tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
