Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is looking for a Brake & Alignment Technician in New Ulm, MN to service and install brake components, suspension parts, and alignment systems. The role includes battery work, tire handling, wheel balancing, and TPMS calibration, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

You will operate service vehicles for offsite or emergency road services as needed, following company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; TPMS work.
