Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. The role includes battery testing, tire mounting, wheel balancing, and TPMS recalibration, with offsite and emergency road service responsibilities.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Operate tools and assist other technicians.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite/emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to others as needed.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand toolsassisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service
• refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $28.00 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
