Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and drive trains, and to perform battery testing and TPMS recalibration. The role involves tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and offsite road service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills. Lifting and physical activity requirements are part of the job, with a commitment to safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
