Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Thornton, CO is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, suspension, alignment and related components, and to perform tire work including TPMS calibration. The role includes on-the-job training and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild and/or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
