Les Schwab Tire Centers in Pendleton, OR is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes hands-on repairs, tire work, and offsite road service as needed.

The position offers on-the-job training, a team-oriented environment, and opportunities to contribute to a trusted tire center with strong community presence.

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license


• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment


• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds


• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50
