Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering exceptional customer service. The role encompasses battery testing, tire mounting, wheel rebalancing, and TPMS work, with test drives to verify repairs.

On-the-job training is provided, and candidates should have a valid driver's license and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds with bending and squatting as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools to complete tasks.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified colleagues as needed.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications
