Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Oregon. You will service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components and provide superb customer service.

Pay ranges from $14.85 to $24.50 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and tuition assistance. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
Use equipment and hand tools.
Test drive vehicles and provide customer service.
Refer customers to qualified colleagues as needed.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components

Testing and installing batteries

Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components

Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools

Assisting other employees

Test driving vehicles

Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service

Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment

Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds

Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing
