Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Mukilteo, WA. You will install and service brake, alignment, suspension, and related components, test drive vehicles, and assist customers with service needs.

The role offers on-the-job training, a pay range of $16.50–$28.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a retirement plan and time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
