Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Everett, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test drive vehicles, and assist other technicians.

This on-site position includes on-the-job training, a competitive pay range of $16.50–$28.00 per hour, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tires and wheels; rebalance wheels.
• Replace, rebuild, or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use tools and assist other employees; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
