Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, ensuring top-notch customer service and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include installing parts, batteries, tires, TPMS work, test driving, and roadside service, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, can work in a fast-paced environment, and are capable of frequent lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, alignment, suspension, drive train, and steering parts and components.

• Dismount/mount tires and rebalance wheels; replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• test and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services

Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Pay and Benefits
