Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in the United States is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with tools and equipment, assist teammates, and perform offsite road services as needed. The role offers opportunities for on-the-job training and growth within a large, established tire business.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lb, occasional up to 75 lb; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
