Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, alignments, and suspension components with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. The role includes offsite road service, safety testing, and equipment operation in a fast-paced shop environment.

The position offers on-site work, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Providing excellent customer service.
Referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
