Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in the United States is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. You will test drive vehicles and work with tires, TPMS, and related systems while delivering friendly, reliable customer service.

The position offers on-the-job training, a pay range of $14.85–$24.50 per hour, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, a company retirement plan, paid time off, disability coverage, tuition

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds; bending and kneeling.
• Ability to diagnose and service brakes, suspensions, and tires.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
