Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service. The role involves hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and road testing, with on-the-job training provided.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and perform repetitive bending and kneeling.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service; referring customers to other staff as needed.
