Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service and following company policies and the Code of Conduct. Responsibilities include installing brake systems, testing batteries, tire mounting/rebalancing, TPMS calibration, equipment use, test drives, and offsite road service.

Pay ranges from $14.85 to $24.50 per hour plus quarterly bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace, rebuild and calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Assist other employees and provide excellent customer service; refer customers as necessary.
• Test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
