Job summary

Les Schwab in Oregon is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service.

You will perform tire work, battery testing, TPMS calibration, and assist teammates, with on-the-job training provided.

All duties must align with company policies and Code of Conduct, with competitive hourly pay and benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally (frequent lifting up to 35 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use automotive tools and equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to qualified colleagues when appropriate.
