Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service in accordance with company policies. The role includes offsite and emergency road service, test driving, and teamwork with other colleagues.

Responsibilities include installing brakes, suspensions, and TPMS components, using tools, and providing safe, high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance, and TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Referring customers to other qualified employees as needed.
