Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, suspension, and alignment components. You will test batteries, mount/dismount tires, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS while delivering top-notch customer service.

The role involves operating service vehicles, on-site testing, and assisting teammates. Valid driver’s license and physical requirements apply; competitive wages accompany a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.
