Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Thornton, CO is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, suspension, alignment and related components, and to perform tire work including TPMS calibration. The role includes on-the-job training and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.

• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:
