Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, delivering strong customer service in line with company policies.

You will perform brake system work, battery testing, tire mounting, TPMS calibration, wheel rebalancing, and unit testing on vehicle road tests, with opportunities for offsite and emergency service; comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.
• Ability to operate tools and assist co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:
