Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension, and alignment components and to provide excellent customer service. You will install parts, test batteries, and perform road tests as part of a comprehensive service program.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• testing and installing batteries.
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• assisting other employees.
• test driving vehicles.
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
