The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard is seeking a Project Coordinator II to provide comprehensive management for the Center for Human Brain Variation. The role supports cross-functional teams, ensures data and workflow integrity, and coordinates timelines, data requirements, and logistics.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in research or project management, good communication skills, and experience with data systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related research and/or project management experience with a BS in biology or related field.
• Experience communicating with lab personnel and protocol troubleshooting.
• Strong project management skills in a matrixed environment coordinating multiple teams and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Assist the managing director and PM team with management of Center for Human Brain Variation projects.
• Ensure communication with stakeholders regarding timelines, status, data requirements, logistics and related issues.
• Establish close relationships with key collaborators and Broad staff to enhance knowledge flow and data distribution.
• Assist with IRB documentation, material transfer agreements and data access submissions for public or controlled-access repositories.
• Arrange collection of participant information and shipment of sample kits.
• Manage generation, reporting, and forecasting of genomic data (genotyping, WES/WGS, 10X) to the Genomics Platform.
• Support data manager with data processing and transfer to analysts and collaborators and data sharing repositories.
• Generate quotes and purchase orders in SAP to initiate platform activities.
• Track requests, receipt, processing and storage of biological samples.
• Coordinate project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items using PM tools.
• Respond quickly to shifting priorities and seek process improvements.
• Assist the managing director with other tasks as needed.
