Job summary

The Broad Institute is seeking a Project Coordinator II to provide comprehensive project management for the Center for Human Brain Variation. The role supports multidisciplinary teams, manages data workflows, and ensures compliant documentation for IRB and data access agreements.

Responsibilities include coordinating samples, sequencing-related activities, and data handoffs to analysts and collaborators, with a strong emphasis on structured communication and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related research and/or project management experience with a BS in biology or related field.
• Experience communicating with lab personnel and protocol troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management skills in a matrixed environment keeping teams and deliverables on track.
• Interdisciplinary interaction with staff, trainees, data analysts, and scientists.

Responsibilities

• Assist managing director and PM team with Center for Human Brain Variation projects.
• Ensure timely communication with stakeholders on timelines, data requirements, and logistics.
• Establish relationships with collaborators and Broad staff to facilitate knowledge flow and data distribution.
• Assist with IRB submissions, data access agreements, and data sharing repository submissions.
• Coordinate collection of participant information and shipment of sample kits.
• Support data generation, QC, and data handoff to analysts and collaborators.
• Generate quotes and purchase orders in SAP to initiate platform activities.
• Coordinate project meetings, document minutes, and track action items.
