Job summary

The Wyss Institute at Harvard University seeks a Research Assistant III to join the Brain Targeting Program. You will support antibody brain shuttle screening in vivo and in vitro, develop assays, and contribute to data analysis and presentation.

Collaboration with veterinary and analytical teams is essential for project milestones. The ideal candidate has rodent handling experience, translational research interest, and strong documentation and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, genetics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with rodent handling, drug administration (IV, IP, SC), tissue harvesting and processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support in vivo functional screening including drug dosing, tissue dissection, and ELISAs on tissue lysates.
• Support in vitro tissue culture and maintenance of cell lines; perform cell-based assays.
• Organize lab materials, order supplies, and document experimental observations and SOPs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, scientific rigor, and collaboration across teams.
