Job summary

One Medical Extrusion is seeking a Braiding Machine Operator in Minnesota to operate and set up horizontal and vertical braiding equipment, ensuring accurate coverage and dimensions. You will handle tooling adjustments, monitor gauges, and maintain cleanliness and documentation of measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up horizontal and vertical braiding machines.
• Adjust tooling for proper coverage and dimensions; monitor gears and gauges.
• Move full bobbins to braider decks and remove empty bobbins.
• Clean braiders, benches and related equipment; maintain cleaning log.
• Perform product inspection as required and document measurements.

Job description

As a Braiding Machine Operator, must have experience working with tools and or medical manufacturing environment. We offer fair wages, vacation & bonuses.

What you'll be doing

• Operation and set-up of the horizontal and vertical braiding machine.
• Adjustment to the tooling to ensure proper coverage and dimension, visual attention must be given to the gears, gauges, wire detectors.
• Physical transfer of full bobbins to the braider decks.
• Removal of the empty bobbins from the braider deck.
• Clean braiders, benches, and other related equipment using specified solvents and cleaning materials.
• Maintain a cleaning log.
• Perform inspection of product as required.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years machine operator experience, Braiding machine is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to operate small parts
• Ability to read work instructions and drawings
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Ability to accurately and consistently record all measurements with tape measures, calipers and/or micrometers for quality audit documentation
• Ability to left 50 pounds at times, pushing and pulling
• Reliable and always on time.
• Has the ability to multi-task.
