Total Talent Solutions in Granby, CT is seeking a Machine Operator to run braid equipment, monitor quality, and help sustain efficient, safe production. The role requires reading work instructions, basic math, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided for no prior braiding experience.

Responsibilities include operating braid machines, loading materials, assisting with setup, and inspecting finished cables. Expect a fast-paced environment with overtime or varying shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation.
• Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate braid machines used to apply metallic braid to heat trace cable.
• Load carriers and bobbins with wire materials, including tinned copper and stainless steel.
• Assist with machine setup and changeovers under supervision.
• Monitor machine performance and braid patterns during production runs.
• Inspect finished cable for defects, gaps, loose wires, and uneven coverage.
• Measure cable dimensions using basic measuring tools and record production data.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and report equipment or quality concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety standards.
