Clean Harbors and Safety Kleen Systems are seeking a Government Account Intern for our Winter 2026 internship program based at our Norwell, MA headquarters. The internship offers hands-on projects across environmental, energy, and industrial services with a focus on safety and reliability.

Internship involves working with field teams and leaders, exposure to contract management, and opportunities to learn about gov't accounts.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant field.
• Government background strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy.
• Ability to multitask.
• Handles confidential information appropriately.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Performs contract implementation and facilitates all contract and reporting deliverables.
• Support and facilitates contract requirements, price management, account structure, and special billing requirements.
• Review and support the development/placement of products/services offering.
• Supports all aspects Gov't accounts; customer services, while manage and performs customer set-up and all administrative tasks.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem.

Clean Harbors and Safety Kleen Systems is seeking a Government Account Intern to join our safety‑focused team. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while supporting real projects that contribute to business priorities across our environmental, energy, and industrial services operations. We are searching for a reliable and team‑oriented individual with an excellent commitment to safety to join our growing team!

This is a Winter 2026 Internship position based out of our Norwell, MA headquarters. Interns are expected to work during winter break.

Key Responsibilities

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
