Clean Harbors is seeking a Chemical Engineering Project Management Intern for our safety-focused team at the Norwell, MA headquarters. This in-person internship runs Summer 2027, with start dates May 17th or May 24th, and ends in August.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting projects across environmental, energy, and industrial services while learning from experienced professionals. The role emphasizes health and safety, teamwork, project support, and exposure to CAD drawing revisions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at an accredited college or university.
• Strong interest in learning about the environmental services industry.
• Previous experience in a lab setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant technical tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software preferred but not required.

We are searching for a reliable and team‑oriented individual with an excellent commitment to safety to join our growing team during Summer 2027!

This internship is an in‑person opportunity based out our Norwell, MA headquarters. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to our industry, and develop practical skills that support their academic and early career goals.

Start dates for our Summer 2027 Internship Program are May 17th or May 24th of 2027. Internships will run through the summer and end in August.
