Job summary

CRG Houston seeks a Weatherization Quality Control Inspector to perform energy audits, quality control inspections, and contractor oversight in the Houston region. You will conduct blower door, duct blaster testing, review documentation, certify completed projects, and educate clients on energy conservation.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish preferred, two+ years of related experience, and credentials including BPI EA & QCI; OSHA 30, EPA Lead RRP.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of weatherization or building performance experience.
• Valid TX driver license.
• BPI Energy Auditor and QCI certifications.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• EPA Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential energy audits, diagnostic testing, and quality control inspections.
• Conduct blower door, duct blaster, pressure pan, ventilation, combustion safety tests.
• Review work scopes, documentation, and completed projects for compliance.
• Certify completed weatherization projects and coordinate rework when required.
• Provide technical assistance to staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Educate clients regarding energy conservation and equipment operation.
