Paterson Public School District 307 KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL is seeking a Head Coach for Boys Volleyball to lead the spring program. The role requires NJ certification, CPR/First Aid, and NFHS course completion; coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The season runs March 9, 2027 to June 14, 2027, with daily availability and adherence to DOE guidelines. This is a stipend position with a focus on athlete development and program safety.

Qualifications

• DOE certification requirements including volunteer coaches must be met.
• Proof of experience required for Substitute Certificate holder.
• All coaches must have valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• NFHS Fundamentals of CoachingCourse completed before first employment.
• NFHS Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, Implicit Bias, BeNice courses required.
• All NEW coaches starting 2007-2008 must complete the specified certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coach Boys Volleyball during the spring season (March 9, 2027 – June 14, 2027).
• Ensure safety, compliance with DOE/NJ requirements, and student development.
• Availability for daily spring duties and coordination with athletic staff.
