Job summary

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the values of education-based athletics.
• Must meet all coaching certification requirements as set by the IHSAA and Eastern Greene Schools.

Responsibilities

• Develop a competitive and character-driven golf program.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and school spirit.
• Instruct athletes on proper techniques, safety, and sportsmanship.
• Provide positive leadership and mentorship to student-athletes.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and the Athletic Department.
• Plan and conduct effective practices and match strategies.
• Supervise student-athletes at all times during team activities.
• Ensure proper care and inventory of all team equipment and uniforms.
• Support student-athletes academically and promote eligibility standards.
• Adhere to all IHSAA rules, school district policies, and athletic department guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with players, families, and school staff.
